For every decision:

  • the decision's number and date, the sitting it was adopted in, and its kind
  • the official title and a plain-language summary, in Romanian and English
  • what each article provides, without the legal formulae
  • the sums, exactly as the document writes them and in short form
  • the addresses, parcels and surfaces the act names
  • the institutions, companies and people it names, with appointments
  • the vote, where the council publishes it, and the earlier decisions it amends
  • the link to the council's own document and its sha256 fingerprint

How this was produced

The sources are the Galați City Council's own documents: the adopted decisions and, where the council publishes them, the minutes of its sittings. They are read from the published text, from PDF, and for scans by OCR — published only above 70% confidence. Every document read is archived with its sha256 fingerprint. A figure appears only if it appears literally in the document — nothing is computed, estimated or filled in. Where the document is silent, the field stays empty.

Licence and citation

The source documents are public records, and nobody owns the facts in them. The derived text — the summaries, the structure, the descriptions — is offered under CC BY 4.0: copy and republish it, commercially too, provided you credit “Monitorul Local” and keep the link to the decision's page.
