Generated 2026-08-29. ## How the content is produced Source documents are the council's own: adopted decisions (HCL) from extranet.brasovcity.ro and session minutes (proces-verbal, PDF) from brasovcity.ro. Each fetched document is archived and its sha256 is published alongside the record. Every published figure is copied verbatim from the source document. Nothing is summed across unlike things and nothing is estimated. Figures shown in short form (for example "5,62 mil. lei") are TRUNCATED, never rounded up: a short form never states a larger number than the document does. The exact source value ("5.622.776,00 lei") is carried alongside every one of them, so no claim rests on the shortened form. Where a document states an amount in a scaled unit ("2.424.116,61 mii lei") the scale is applied once, at extraction, so the tag, the article and the annex summary cannot disagree. A figure that cannot be found verbatim in the source is not published at all. Where a document does not state something, the field is simply absent — from the page and from the data. It is never guessed, and never filled with a placeholder. An empty field means the source document is silent, not that the value is zero. They are visually distinguished for that reason. ## Known limits - Minutes are published roughly three months after the session, so vote data lags. Decisions themselves publish within days. - Agenda points are matched to adopted decisions by title similarity; a small number of points in each meeting carry the minutes record without a joined decision text. - Pre-2015 minutes use a narrative format the parser does not handle and are excluded. - Press coverage is attached to a small number of decisions and was gathered by hand. - Some annexes are scans with no text layer. They are listed and linked, but not transcribed: local OCR measured under 45% accuracy on them, and wrong text would be worse than none.
